2007-2008 Events Calendar
Weekly Events Ski & Soup Group - Guided tour on our trails with a soup lunch to end the morning. Night Skiing - Lanterns light a wooded loop to a traditional bonfire with marshmallows and songs. Ski and snowshoe equipment rentals are available. Maine Handicapped Skiing - Instruction and programs for children and adults with a physical disability. Kids Program - Snow Play! Search the trails for natural treasures and special trail side features following a kids adventure map.
Season Calendar December 8 Trails open! Think Snow!!!!!!
December 25 Merry Christmas! Center opens at noon.
January 12 Winter Trails Day – A Nationwide event to promote winter sports. Free snowshoeing and cross country skiing for first time participants from 1:00 PM until closing.
January 21 Martin Luther King Day Celebration – Take an educational tour around our Inn Loop to learn more about civil rights activists.
February 23 Joy of Skiing - A progressive picnic on skis. Combine two of life's greatest pleasures - skiing and good food - in our most popular event of the year! Benefits Maine Lung Association.
March 29 Sunday River Ski-a-thon - The largest one-day fund raiser in Maine to benefit Maine Handicapped Skiing! Join in on a sit ski race and resort ski tour. Form a team and help raise money for MHS!
